An independently owned group of four community pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable pharmacist to join their team on a per diem basis. This role begins with coverage at one location but has the potential to expand into a part-time floater position supporting all four pharmacy sites. The parent company operates multiple pharmacy locations across six states, offering opportunities to contribute to a growing network.
Responsibilities:
- Perform primary retail pharmacy duties, including dispensing and counseling
- Manage a daily volume of approximately 100-150 prescriptions
- Handle specialty medications, including packaging for mail and courier delivery
- Provide excellent patient care interacting with a diverse customer base
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff across multiple locations
Qualifications:
- Approximately two years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience with PrimeRX software is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple pharmacy environments and workflows
Schedule:
- Shifts primarily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Flexible hours within a per diem framework, with potential for 30-35 hours per week as a floater
